Mayoor Private School Shines at the 5th Annual COE STEM Programming with AI Competition 2025

The College of Engineering at Abu Dhabi University organized the 5th Annual COE STEM Programming with AI Competition 2025, an inspiring event that brought together some of the brightest young minds from across the UAE. This year, the theme of the competition was Artificial Intelligence, encouraging students to explore how AI can be applied to understand, analyse, and solve real-world challenges through creativity, innovation, and responsible use of technology.

A major highlight of this prestigious event was the AI-Powered Problem-Solving Challenge, where participants were required to solve a real-life problem within a 3-hour timeframe using modern AI tools, logical reasoning, and advanced programming techniques. This high-energy challenge tested not only the students’ technical knowledge but also their ability to think critically under pressure.

We are immensely proud to announce that five students from Grade 11 represented Mayoor Private School with great enthusiasm and determination:

Tanya Mahajan (11B1), Sugith Kumar (11A1), Atul Kumar Singh (11A1), Shane Alex Shibu (11A2), and Anshul Samudayanan (11A2).

Competing against more than 2,100 students from 72 schools across the UAE, our talented team demonstrated remarkable creativity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a deep understanding of AI technologies. Their commitment and innovative thinking helped them stand out in a highly competitive environment.

With their exceptional performance, Mayoor Private School proudly secured the First Position in Cycle 3 – Advanced Problem Category, marking a moment of great honour for our entire school community. This outstanding achievement reflects their passion for learning, perseverance, and strong command of emerging technologies.

This success also highlights Mayoor Private School’s commitment to fostering future-ready learners who are equipped to excel in the fields of STEM and Artificial Intelligence.

“Design is intelligence made visible.” - Alina Wheeler Encouraging Stem Learning through Design Thinking Activity Grade 6 students recently had an exciting opportunity to apply design thinking skills in a real-world context by designing their own chocolate wrappers. This activity not only promoted creativity and innovation but also integrated Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning in a fun and engaging way.
