Thought Power- Discovering Our Potential

The first session with our twelve dynamic geniuses at the Tinkering Studio started on 10th October, 2018, with a lot of fervor and delight. Three quarter of an hour of research, planning and sketching helped them to set in motion. Trust me, the outcome of that thinking time was truly remarkable!

Mahek of Grade 6, challenged herself with an innovative idea of making a ‘stationery vending machine’ to be installed  in every classroom, to solve the problem for those who forget to bring their stationery to school for that day. According to Mahek, children's work should not be affected for not getting their stationery supplies to school. They can use the vending machine to derive their supplies by simply inserting the appropriate amount and get their pens, pencils, sketch pens, erasers, etc for the day.

Niharika of grade 5, wants to make a low cost, eco friendly water purifier. She desires to help people in the villages, to consume clean and safe drinking water. Niharika opines that many people travel very far to fetch water. However, they face a definite threat of intaking contaminated water.  In this aspect, the water purifier will help them to store and drink safe drinking water. Virtuous ideas will definitely bring productive results. Proud of you Niharika!

Our students are sensitive to real world problems and they are also steadfast on finding solutions to those problems. There is a lot more excitement coming up to read on about our students' evolving ideas. Till then, keep reading keep growing!
