The Intel Skills for Innovation program at Mayoor  Private School in Abu Dhabi exemplifies a transformative approach to integrating technology within educational settings, emphasizing empowerment, innovation, and interdisciplinary application. Led by three dedicated master trainers—Miss Smita Dhanke,  Miss Greeshma Nair and Miss Roshna Hameed.

The initiative involved comprehensive training of teachers through Intel certification, coupled with strategic planning to surmount implementation challenges, all meticulously monitored via timeline sheets to track individual progress. The program innovatively incorporated cross-curricular starter packs and adapted 90-minute lessons to foster seamless technology integration, while fostering a collaborative environment where teachers and students engaged in technology training and exploration.

A standout feature is the Tech Titans program, a student-led initiative where select students demonstrate advanced proficiency in tools such as Blender, Fusion, and high-end gaming software, subsequently providing peer training, assisting in software integration, and exploring cutting-edge applications. Interdisciplinary examples vividly illustrate the program’s scope: English lessons utilize AI role modeling for character development; science classes employ Blender for fire simulations; mathematics integrates data handling with Final Earth; Psychology explores AI-based advertisement design; and primary education applies design thinking to develop assistive technologies.

The transformative impact of this initiative is evident in enhanced critical thinking skills, increased levels of technology adoption, greater teacher confidence, and enriched, student-centered learning experiences.
