What happens when great minds team up to work? Yes , they create a new enchanting world, unlike the ususal everyday things around them.

Let me take you to a new exceptional world, wherein our students of grade 4 collaborated, brainstormed, defined, ideated and created their own mysterious globe of enchanting animals. They have a new vision of a new planet, where animals not only walk or fly but they have unique features beyond imagination. The videos below will give you a deeper insight into the way the students worked using the design thinking technique as well as the objective of creating their own mystery animal. Great Minds At Work

  In the words of John Mc Donald, “ There must be a positive and negative in everything in the universe in order to complete a circuit or circle, without which there would be no activity, no motion” Electric things are so much part of our lives!  Gaining a current understanding of how electricity works and what it does is vital life learning.  Our emerging and investigative engineers of grade 6 were immensely engaged in learning the same, through a few interactive projects based on circuits. .  Our budding engineers  learnt the basics of building a series and parallel circuits.  By  the end of the activity they gained immense practical knowledge on LEDs, batteries, resistors, switches, board wiring,and spin circuits. The main activity  was to learn about  the difference between the two (series has one path for the electricity to flow, whereas parallel has two or more paths).Students also had to be able to use their analytical skills to determine if the light bulbs would glow or not. Jubilating Innovation Week

  The famous philosopher rightly quoted “ The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but building on the new.“ To foster this idea an Innovation week was organised in Mayoor Private School.   It kicked off from 16th January to 20th January 2023. to boost creativity, innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship, marketing  advertising and entrepreneurship among the students. Students from kindergarten to grade 11 were given different activities to explore and execute. The activities included, jewellery making, photo frame making, bubble machine making, card board games, circuit games, games developed using coding on any platform, games developed using robotics, items like bookmarks, bags, cards, etc were made.
