“Spreading Positivity: Kindness Tracker Project at Mayoor Private School”

"Kindness is a language that everyone understands."

Our Grade 3B student, Prisha Jaitly, brought the idea of spreading kindness to life through her innovative project, Kindness Tracker. The project encourages people to recognize and record acts of kindness, turning small positive actions into meaningful habits.

The Kindness Tracker uses a micro:bit V2 connected with an LCD display, servo motor, LED matrix, and speaker. When a user performs a kind act, they press a button to record it. The system increases the kindness count and provides instant feedback through lights, sound, and movement. The LED matrix shows progress, the LCD displays the kindness score and motivational messages, and the servo provides a visual reward.

Through this project, Prisha explored how technology can be used to promote empathy, positivity, and social responsibility. She gained hands-on experience with coding, electronics, creativity, and problem-solving while creating a solution that encourages people to appreciate and spread kindness.

The Kindness Tracker shows that technology is not only about creating smart devices—it can also be used to build better habits and make a positive impact in our communities. Through this project, Prisha has combined innovation with kindness to inspire others to create a kinder future.
